One Ohio born-and-raised entrepreneur meets another Ohio-born-and raised music industry up-and-comer. They discuss the possibility of bringing in one of the hottest collegiate music stars in the country, and Mike Posner is billed as the headliner. It was the biggest step #FEST made in going from a college party to a true Ohio music festival. Students from everywhere came to partake in what is considered by many to be the truest resemblance to Woodstock. The rain returned, and though the new venue had its challenges, over ten thousand people showed up. The attendees loved Mike Posner, and Posner loved them. He jumped off the stage at one point, covered himself in mud, and proceeded to finish his set looking just like every member of the crowd: muddy and loving it. Videos of the #FEST went viral, logging over 1 million views. The following Saturday MTV aired footage of 7FEST. Game changer.
