#FEST ANNOUNCES 2-NIGHT CAMPING AND TAILGATE
December 9, 2015

For the first time ever, we’re happy to announce on-site camping for #Fest!

Camping grounds will be right outside the festival, on the grounds of The Venue Of Athens. Camping passes allow you to camp overnight at The Venue on the nights of both Friday, April 15 and Saturday, April 16. Camping passes are NOT admission into #Fest; you will need a separate admission ticket into #Fest.

Each person must have their own camping pass, regardless of how many people you will have at your site, as opposed to having one pass per campsite and having that one pass cover multiple people.

-Campers will NOT be allowed to go back and forth between the campsite and the actual #Fest concert venue until 11:00PM on April 16. If you leave the #Fest concert venue to go back to your campsite, you will NOT be allowed back into the #Fest concert venue.

-Want to camp next to your friends? Make sure you all arrive together. Camping spots will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. Camp sites can NOT be reserved without campers present.

-The camping site has a maximum capacity. We encourage everyone to purchase camping passes prior to arrival at #Fest as we cannot guarantee that camping will still be available for purchase the day of the event. IF camping is still available on April 15/16, you may purchase a camping pass on-site until we hit capacity.

-There are no electric or water hook ups in the camping area. Generators are not allowed. Showers will be available at an additional fee.

-Trailers and other camping units that require to be towed in with a vehicle are prohibited. The camping area is reserved for tents only.

-Camping is rain or shine. No refunds or exchanges.

-PROHIBITED ITEMS: Open flames (including grills, tiki torches, fire pits), drugs, anything glass (plastic and cans only), generators, pets, or tents LARGER than 15’ x 15’. Have questions about what is or is not allowed? Tweet us: @thenumberfest

Camping policies are subject to change without notice. All current camping policies will be available here on TheNumberFest.com

Camping passes are now available, and you can purchase camping passes on the same page you purchase your tickets (click here).

Official #Fest Tailgate

We are also happy to announce our first-ever #Fest Tailgate, taking place in the Main Parking Lot at The Venue Of Athens. The tailgate, which runs from Noon-3:00PM on April 16, allows everyone to pre-party before the real fun begins.

You do NOT need an additional ticket. Foldable tables, cornhole, and other “tailgate games” are allowed in the tailgate.

Parking will be available in this Main Parking Lot, which has been worked on in the past year and has capacity for over 2,500 vehicles.

Bring your crew and arrive early for the tailgate to get the party started before we spend the day with Fetty Wap and the rest of your #14Fest crew!

Friday Night Welcome Party

Last but not least, we’re happy to announce that for the first time ever, #Fest will be getting the party started on the Friday night before! More info on the Welcome Party, including artists for the Welcome Party, will come soon.

We are happy to announce Fetty Wap as the first artist announced for #Fest: 14th Edition AKA #14Fest!

Fetty Wap has arguably been the hottest name in hip-hop this year with what have become anthems for 2015, including “Trap Queen”, “My Way”, and “679”. His fourth single “Again” cemented his spot in history as the “first artist ever to simultaneously chart his inaugural four entries in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot Rap Songs Chart.”

The rest of the #14Fest lineup will be announced soon.

With this announcement, GA + VIP tickets, parking passes, and camping passes are now on sale! Click here to get yours.

More info on camping will be released in the coming days, as well as the official #14Fest Tailgate right before gates open for the festival!

IMPROVEMENTS MADE TO THE VENUE OF ATHENS
November 11, 2015

As a part of our continued commitment to better the #Fest environment for years to come, we have been working hard at improving The Venue Of Athens. Here’s an overview of some of the improvements currently being made that will be ready for #14Fest on April 16, 2016.

New Venue Layout

We’ve literally flipped the venue around in terms of entrances and stage placement! Everyone will now enter from the side of The Venue where the stage has been in the past, with a VIP-only entrance where last year’s entry point was. This is the same layout that was used for Country Night Lights back in September.

This new layout opens up much more space at The Venue, and allows for easier entry and exit.

Addition of a 2000+ space parking lot on-site

At the bottom of the map above, you’ll see “Main Parking”. We’ve made available a large section of The Venue to park over 2,000 cars on-site. This will allow for easier and safer entering and exiting, as well as helps with overnight accommodations on-site.

Parking on-site is the easiest way to travel to and from #Fest. There will be no public shuttles transporting festival-goers to/from Ohio University and #Fest.

You can pre-purchase a parking pass on the same page that you purchase your tickets - click here

Emergency Access Lane added to main entrance road.

We’ve expanded the entrance/exit trail to include a new lane dedicated to emergency access only. This helps our local police and EMS to respond and provide assistance faster than before.

Larger VIP and Cabana Areas

For those ready to head to #14Fest in style, we’ve expanded the VIP and Cabana sections to provide a true VIP experience. They will allow more room for you and your crew to hang out, plus plenty of other great perks we’re working on.

Improved drainage system

We’re tackling the issue of a muddy and swampy Venue with an improved drainage system, designed to dry out the Venue grounds quicker. This benefits EVERYONE, from those putting together and building the stage, to you as you rock out to some of the biggest names in music today.
