The social media era had begun, and Facebook and Myspace were now useful tools in reaching a new audience. #Fest was quickly becoming recognized by college students from across Ohio and the Midwest. Over 10,000 people showed up for yet another perfect spring day in Athens. The bands got better. The crowd got bigger. The hype got louder.
