#FEST would like to announce the addition of 3 amazing performers to this year’s lineup

Hodgie Street, Hawkeye & Dave Rave will be on stage at this year’s event. The late additions come with the news that #FEST alums Fly Union and Stalley have been added to the BET Music Matters Tour headlined by Kendrick Lamar. We are excited to hear the amazing news for some of our favorite local artists. It’s a well-deserved opportunity for both Fly Union and Stalley. The national recognition the groups are garnering with the news of their inclusion on the mega tour produced by BET will hopefully push the entire music scene in Ohio even further into the spotlight.. Back to the newest members of the #FEST 10th Edition Lineup.

Hodgie Street:

Born in Lima, OH and residing in Columbus, OH, Hodgie has garnered respect from numerous outlets and become a figure within the Ohio hip-hop Circuit. At the age of 20, Hodgie formed his independent label 1700 Entertainment. Hodgie’s had a productive 2011 show schedule performing live with new age artist; Mac Miller, Fly Union, Rockie Fresh, & Chip Tha Ripper, not to mention a mid-west college tour with Chicago legend Twista. In April, Hodgie released “1986” joint-EP release with DJ Giovanny to celebrate their identical birth dates and to musically pay homage to Statik Selektah & Terminology’s classic album ‘’1982’.” So what’s next for Hodgie Street? He’s currently working in the studio with Elevetor Muzik’s Artist/Producer Rashad Thomas (STALLEY Lincoln Way Nights full LP) His latest release, “The Go In 2″ with DJ EV, just dropped.      

Hawkeye:

Comprised of four Cleveland rock music scene vets and fronted by Erika Lauren from WMMS’ “The Alan Cox Show” and MTV’s Real World DC, HAWKEYE has the chops and ain’t afraid to prove it. Their intoxicating high energy dance club vibe brings the party to every venue. Formed in 2011, HAWKEYE has sold out their own shows and has taken the stage as direct support for well-known acts such as Steel Panther and Attack! Attack! After releasing their debut EP “The Mad Dog Sessions” on iTunes in February of 2012, HAWKEYE is now working on their first full-length album to be released this winter.
